JEWELRY CARE
At anpinmanz, we mainly use two types of materials for the jewelry:
- Hypoallergenic stainless steel: not prone to tarnishing, more durable material
- 925 sterling silver: softer material used for delicate jewelry, prone to tarnishing
Note: You can check the material for the jewelry you wish to purchase in the product listing description.
Since sterling silver will tarnish overtime, it needs special care too maintain its color & shape. Please refer to this digital jewelry care card on how to care for your silver jewelry!

- Avoid acid & alkali moisture (stay away from chemicals)
- Avoid sleep wear
- Avoid pulling too hard
- Do not wear it in the bath
- Wipe with a silver cloth
- Avoid wearing it when you sweat heavily
GOLD-PLATED CHARMS CARE:
All the gold-plated charms in the bracelet collections are made of 925 silver, and gold plated. The gold plating is thin, so this makes it prone to tarnishing.
*I have feedbacked the relatively fast tarnishing of the Han Quokka/ATE charms, and my factory has added a protective layer of coating for restocks.
But, its still not immune from tarnishing, so here are some tips on how to restore your gold plated charms at home!
Here's how to tell they have started to tarnish:
Silver-plated jewelry can be cleaned easily with a polishing cloth, but its a little different for gold-plated ones. You can either get the gold charms replated at a jeweler, or do a DIY method to restore them, which I will guide you:
*Avoid prolonged exposure to intense heat, moisture & chemicals (lotion, perfume, sanitizers). Repeat this method every 1-2 months if needed.
Hope this helps!
